Dodge Ram “Instant Win” Contest

  1. No purchase is necessary to play the Dodge Ram“Instant Prize”Game. Consumers can play the game through the “Instant Win”website, www.raminstantwin.ca, and must have a valid PIN number. To obtain a game piece, see rule 2. c.

    1. Instant Win Game: To enter the contest, consumers must have received a contest game piece containing a PIN number from one of the Dodge Ram Activation Team events. Contestants must enter online via the contest site located at www.raminstantwin.ca, enter in the PIN number (located on the contest game piece), fully complete the required fields on the Standard Entry Ballot (all information provided to Chrysler Canada Inc. must be correct).
      1. All entries must be received during the Promotion Period. Use of any automated system to submit entries is prohibited and will result in disqualification. In the event of a dispute as to any online entry, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.
    2. Upon successful completion of the Standard Entry Ballot form (including their PIN number) consumers will be taken to a web page that will reveal if they are eligible to win an instant prize. One hundred (100) available prizes consisting of: Twenty (20) Rona Gift Cards, valued at $25 each, odds of winning (1:500); Ten (10) Home Depot Gift Cards, valued at $50 each (1:1,000); Fifty (50) Petro Canada Gas Cards, valued at $50 each (1:200) and 20 Mark’s Work Wearhouse Gift Cards, valued at $25 each (1:500). The “Instant Win” Game results will be instantly displayed. Potential winners will be required to correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question. Entrants will receive their instant win prizes via email after confirmation of eligibility and email address.
    3. No purchase necessary. To obtain a game piece, please send a self-addressed envelope to P.O. Box 4099, Paris, ON N3L 3W9 by December 19, 2008.

  5. The Dodge Ram “Instant Win” Game will commence on Monday, October 27, 2008 at 8:29:59 a.m. (ET) and will conclude on Wednesday, December 31, 2008, at 11:59:59 a.m. (ET) (the “Promotion Period”).
  6. Chrysler Canada Inc., its retailers, parent company, subsidiaries and affiliates, advertising agencies and agents are not responsible for any lost, late, incomplete, illegible, ineligible, damaged, destroyed or misdirected entries. All entries become the sole property of Chrysler Canada Inc. and none will be returned.


  7. Prizing

    Instant Win Prizes: One hundred (100) available prizes consisting of: Twenty (20) Rona Gift Cards, valued at $25 each; Ten (10) Home Depot Gift Cards, valued at $50 each; Fifty (50) Petro Canada Gas Cards, valued at $50 each and 20 Mark’s Work Wearhouse Gift Cards, valued at $25 each. Odds of receiving a game piece with a potentially winning PIN number are approximately 1:100.

Contestants must be a legal resident of Canada, be the age of majority in the province or territory in which they reside. Employees and representatives of Chrysler Canada Inc., its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising agencies and those with whom they are domiciled are ineligible.

Chrysler Canada Inc., will not be responsible for any telephone, technical, network, online, electronic, computer hardware or software failures of any kind, misdirected, stolen, incomplete, garbled or delayed Internet/email or computer transmissions on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to a participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation or downloading any material in this Contest.


  13. Chrysler Canada Inc., extends no representations or warranties in respect to any prizes and accepts no liability arising in respect of the use of any prizes.


  14. If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest is corrupted or adversely affected in any way, including by reason of infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, duress, technical failures, or any other causes beyond its control, Chrysler Canada Inc., its retailers, parent company, subsidiaries and affiliates and agents, reserve the right in their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest, including, cancellation of any method of entry and selection of Winners from previously received eligible entries. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Chrysler Canada Inc., reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way.

    Disputes regarding the validity of any entry will be decided by the independent judging organization. By entering the Contest, entrants accept and agree to be bound by the Contest Rules and Regulations, and accept the decisions of the independent judging organization and Chrysler Canada Inc. as final and binding in all respects.


  15. Upon entry, each entrant consents and agrees, in the event that he/she is declared a winner, to have his/her name, age, city/town of residence and/or photograph and statement used without additional compensation or notice for advertising and promotional purposes related to the contest in any medium at the sole discretion of Chrysler Canada Inc. The Winners agree to submit a statement and an up-to-date photograph, or to be photographed.


  16. These Contest Rules and Regulations are subject to all applicable Canadian federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations, govern all aspects of the contest and are binding on all contestants. Chrysler Canada Inc., its retailers and agents shall not be responsible for any errors or negligence that may arise in connection with the contest.


  17. The Instant Prizes must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions. The Instant Prize is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. Chrysler Canada Inc., reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component, which is, in its sole opinion, of equal or greater value, in the event that a Prize or prize component becomes unavailable for any reason whatsoever. Chrysler Canada Inc., reserves the right to change, amend or substitute without notice any or all aspects of the Contest prizing.


  18. Chrysler Canada Inc., its retailers, parent company, subsidiaries and affiliates, advertising agencies and agents are not responsible for any lost, late, incomplete, illegible, ineligible, damaged, destroyed or misdirected PIN numbers.


  19. Limitation of Liability

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO NEGLIGENCE, SHALL CHRYSLER CANADA INC. , ITS CONTENT PROVIDERS, AND CO-BRANDING ASSOCIATES BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY DIRECT OR INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ALLEGEDLY SUSTAINED BY YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTIES FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR THE CONTENT OR YOUR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for punitive, consequential or incidental damages. In such jurisdictions, the liability of CHRYSLER CANADA INC., its content providers and co-branding associates is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
